In yesterday’s match, Delhi Daredevils crushed all the little remained hopes of Gujarat Lions  to make it to the play offs. In what was the highest ever chase total put up in IPL’s score board so far, Delhi’s Risabh Pant left no stones unturned in keeping his team’s slim hopes of pay-off chances alive.

Pant was at his masterful-best with a never-seen-before 97 runs off 43balls that made the Daredevils complete a stunning 209-run chase with jaw-dropping efficiency.

Gujarat Lions on the other hand has lost all the hopes of making it to play offs. The victory has given Daredevils 8 points from 10 games. They still have challenging road ahead but yesterday was certainly a day to celebrate.

The young coach of the team, Rahul Dravid quipped that he was happy that risabh and Samson  didn’t put individual milestones ahead of team goals.
