Prime MInister Cup -1st semi final ,NPC advanced to FINALE
Semi-finale Match of Prime Minister Cup 2074 was played between Nepal Police club and Armed Police force club at TU cricket ground, Kritipur . Nepal police club won the match by 34 runs by (D/L method) against Armed police Force and reached at Finale.
Nepal Police club managed to put good total of 252 runs in 50 overs. K. Bhurtel,S. Lohani,S.Dhamala,A Shrestha contributed 52,40,26/26 runs and DS Airee made 37 runs. K Bhurtel was declared Man of the match for his 52 runs of just 69 balls.
Armed Police forced club won the toss and elected to bowl first and let Nepal Police to set target.On the other side,the team member of armed police, Anil shah took 3 wickets and Gyanendra Malla and Arun Airee took 2 wickets.
APFC required 173 runs from 28.3 overs before the inning started but rain delayed the match. Armed police was given 173 runs target from 28.3 overs as D/L method.APFC got slow start with khakurel(17) and Sunar(36)
APFC team were all out for 138 runs in 28.3 overs. NPC won the match by 34 runs and advance to the final of the Tournament (Prime Minister cup 2074)
NPC will play against the winner of the 2nd semi final match played between Tribhuwan Army Club and Western development region .
