IPL honors Sachin, Ganguly, Sehwag and Laxman

Four stellar cricketing legends were honored at the tenth IPL Premier League this Wednesday (April 05, 2017). The former Indian national team players, called out as “Fab-4” had Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Birendra Sehwag and V. V. S. Laxman in its list. They were collectively honored at the inaugural event of the tenth IPL league at Hyderabad.

The IPL organizer, Mr. Rajiv Shukla presented a “Token of love” to Sachin. Similarly, Gangulay was presented the token by C.K. Khanna, CEO of Indian Cricket Board (BCCI), Sehwag by Amitabh Chaudhary, Secretary of the board and Laxman by Binod Rai, who was instated by the Supreme Court as the President of the administrative committee of the BCCI recently.

Rahul Dravid was also in the list of the names to be honored that day. However, he could not make it to Hyderabad due to his ties with the Delhi Daredevils team.

It has been said that the inauguration celebrations of this year’s IPL league will be done differently in the 8 different cities.
