Lalitpur Patriots revealed jersey and captain for the TVS Everest Premier League scheduled for December 19-30 at the Tribhuvan University Stadium. Lalitpur Patriots President Kishore Maharjan, General Manager Chhumbi Lama, skipper Gyanendra Malla as well as cricketers Sandeep Lamichhane and Kushal Bhurtel revealed the jersey at a press conference on Friday. Team owner Maharjan informed that vice-captain of national cricket team and marque player of Patriots Gyanendra Malla will lead the team and he also added that, “malla is the deserving one for captaincy. Maharjan also said that, “Raju Basnyat will be the coach of team. Maharjan also stated that three Indian players will join his team. One each player from Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals as well as One player from Ranji Trophy. “Very soon we will reveal the names of player,” he added. Meanwhile, skipper Malla said that, “EPL is the one of the biggest tournament and also could be base for the professionalism of Nepali cricket”. Kathmandu Kings XI, Chitwan Tigers, Pokhara Rhinos, Biratnagar Warriors and Bhairahawa Gladiators are the other five teams, who compete with each other in the round robin tournament. The winner of the tournament will get Rs 2.1 million.
